  • Makes 4 dozen tbsp. sized cookies (cooked or uncooked) –

Edible chocolate chip cookie dough! Super yummy cookie dough that is safe for eating uncooked. Or bake it for snack time, melt-in-your- mouth, fluffy chocolate chip cookies.

Bowl 1

¨ 4.5C all-purpose flour

¨ 1.5tsp baking soda

Bowl 2

¨ 1/2C applesauce

¨ 1C butter

¨ 2tsp baking powder

¨ 4tbsp water

¨ 2tbsp canola oil

¨ 1.5C brown sugar lightly packed

¨ 1/2C white sugar

¨ 2tsp vanilla extract

¨ 2C semi-sweet chocolate chips


¨ One Lg mixing bowl

¨ One Sm mixing bowl

¨ 2 baking sheets

¨ Whisk, & spatula


1)Preheat the oven to 350°F

2)In your Large mixing bowl, whisk together the first 2 ingredients. (Bowl 1)

3)Using your Smaller mixing bowl add the next 8 ingredients. Whisking it until well blended. (Bowl 2)

4)Make a well in the center of the flour mixture. Then add the wet mixture to the flour mixture. Using your spatula stir only until completely mixed.

5)Add your semi-sweet chocolate chips and fold them in. Stirring as minimally as possible.

6)Using a tbsp, scoop out cookie dough and arrange evenly on the baking sheet OR place cookie dough in airtight refrigerator container and place in the fridge to eat as an uncooked snack.

7)If your baking the cookies then — Bake for 10mins or until the bottoms are starting to turn brown. Let the cookies cool and enjoy the cooked version of this snack.

8)Store all baked cookies or cookie dough in an airtight container in the fridge
